Chorionic Gonadotropin, Human; β-Subunit, Recombinant (Rec. β-hCG)

This preparation of Recombinant β-hCG is a glycosylated, unmodified form of the protein and it is reactive in a variety of antibody-based assay systems. It is produced in a mammalian cell line and purified by column chromatography. It is provided as a powder, lyophilized from ammonium bicarbonate, and protein content is determined using the Lowry Protein Assay (BSA standard).

Reconstitution: Conditions of reconstitution may vary based on your system, but we recommend using the following buffer: 100 mM Tris, 1 mg/ml BSA, 0.05% Sodium Azide (optional), pH 8.0. A detailed description of our recommended reconstitution protocol is offered here.
