Immunoglobulins, Human
Human Immunoglobulins are essential components of the adaptive immune system and play a prominent role in the body's defense against pathogens like bacteria and viruses. Humans produce five different immunoglobulins, named for their unique make-up of heavy and light peptide chains: Immunoglobulin A (IgA), Immunoglobulin D (IgD), Immunoglobulin E (IgE), Immunoglobulin G (IgG), and Immunoglobulin M (IgM). Some immunoglobulins, such as IgA and IgG, are known to be involved in both pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory responses. Learn more about our purified IgA, IgE, IgG, and IgM below.
