This preparation of Recombinant hCG is a glycosylated, unmodified form of the protein and it is reactive in a variety of antibody-based assay systems. It is produced in a mammalian cell line and purified by column chromatography. It is provided as a powder, lyophilized from ammonium bicarbonate, and protein content is determined using the Lowry Protein Assay (BSA standard).
