This preparation of Recombinant hCG is purified to ≥80% and is suitable for assay development, calibrator and control manufacturing, assay interference studies, and antibody characterization, among other uses. It is a glycosylated, unmodified form of the protein, produced in a mammalian cell line. It is provided as a powder, lyophilized from ammonium bicarbonate, and protein content is determined using the Lowry Protein Assay (BSA standard).
