This preparation of Recombinant Creatine Kinase MB (CK-MB) is the two-subunit molecule, composed of the creatine kinase M and B proteins, and it is partially purified. It is produced in E. coli and is provided as a liquid in 5 mM Sodium Succinate, 10 mM Sodium Chloride, 1 mM EDTA, 5 mM β-Mercaptoethanol, 50% Glycerol, pH 7.0. Purity is ≥99% CK-MB by agarose electrophoresis when stained for all creatine kinase activity (including CK-BB and CK-MM). Purity for each lot is also reported by SDS-PAGE.
