Animal Immunoglobulins

REDUCE NON-SPECIFIC BINDING  -  MINIMIZE BACKGROUND SIGNAL - USE AS POSITIVE CONTROL

Scripps Laboratories offers a variety of purified, stable Animal IgGs. These products are useful in the development of antibody-based immunoassays, being used as a standards and controls or helping to reduce the non-specific binding that increases background signal and clouds results. Animal IgGs are also useful in basic research as controls in techniques such as western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunoprecipitation (IP), and other antibody-based assays.

GOAT IGG
This preparation of Goat IgG is purified from normal goat serum and is provided as a lyophilized powder. Its molecular weight is approximately 144 kDA. Purity is >95% by SDS-PAGE and protein content is determined by A280 prior to lyophilization.

MOUSE IGG
Mouse IgG from Scripps is isolated from normal mouse serum and is provided as a liquid in 10 mM Sodium Phosphate, 150 mM Sodium Chloride, 0.1% Sodium Azide, pH 7.2. Its molecular weight is approximately 155 kDa. Purity is >95% by SDS-PAGE and protein content is determined by A280.

RABBIT IGG
Rabbit IgG from Scripps is purified from normal rabbit serum and is provided as a liquid in 10 mM Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2. Its molecular weight is approximately 150 kDa. This preparation is sterile filtered and supplied without a preservative. Purity is >99% by serum protein electrophoresis and protein content is determined by A280.
