This preparation of α2 Macroglobulin (A2M) is purified from human plasma and is provided as a powder, lyophilized from 5 mM Potassium Phosphate, pH 6.5, containing a 1:1 ratio (w/w) of glycine to A2M as a stabilizer. Purity is >95% by SDS-PAGE. Protein content is determined by A280 prior to lyophilization.
