Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)
Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is a well-established enzyme used as an indicator for various chemical reactions in which peroxide is produced. The enzyme is routinely conjugated to monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies and used within enzyme-based immunoassay systems. Peroxidase is present in a large number of plants, but by far the highest concentration is found in a plant of the mustard family, horseradish.
Scripps also offers a number of HRP Conjugate Stabilizers, which are efficient and cost-effective ways to improve the performance of your HRP conjugates.
