Alkaline Phosphatase

Background Information:

Alkaline Phosphatase catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphate esters yielding alcohols and phosphate. It is a dimer made up of two nearly identical subunits, each with a molecular weight of 69,000 Daltons. Each subunit contains two molecules of zinc, necessary for stability and catalytic activity. This enzyme is useful as an indicator enzyme when coupled to antibodies used in enzyme-based immunoassay systems.

Scripps Laboratories is a leading supplier of Alkaline Phosphatase. Products are prepared on-site and shipped to you directly. For Bulk Discounts or additional product information, please use the button below to send us a note.
